1: Can I avail of any grants to help with the costs?
Grants, announced in February 2009, are available through Sustainable Energy Ireland aimed at homeowners wishing to improve home energy efficiency. €400 is available for Cavity Wall Insulation and up to €250 for roof insulation. Visit www.sei.ie for more info.

2: How long does the installation process take and is it messy?
For a typical dwelling, our installers can complete the work in 3-4 hours. We bring all materials with us so no storage is required and materials or packaging or left behind. As part of the Warmfill process, 60% fewer holes are drilled with Warmfill all of which will be professionally filled with matching mortar.

3: I am building a new house, are beads better than insulation sheets?
Insulation sheets are more prone to problems which are costly to address once your house is built. By choosing insulation beads, you are allowing your builders to focus on constructing the walls which we can then fill from the inside of the house in half a day. Our methods will eliminte the need for materials storage, is quicker, more energy efficient and meets the most stringent building regulations. It also makes maximum use of your wall cavity and comes with a 25 year warranty.

4: Will Cavity Wall insulation save me money?
Once the cavity wall is filled, the adhesive dries & holds the beads together onto a bonded homogeneous heat saving mass which last he lifetime of the building which will satisfy all new building regulations. Savings on home heating bills of up to 40% per annum can be expected. Combined with proper loft insulation, these savings can be increased. By availing of SEI grants, these savings can be realised sooner.

5: I already have Cavity Wall Insulation but it isn't very efficient?
In advance of installing Warmfill Cavity Wall Insulation, we can carry out an inspection. By drilling a single coin sized hole, we can use a specialist camera to check if your walls have any insulation and if it is adequate. If insulation exists, we can easily perform a 'TOP-UP' insulation instead of a complete installation. This will greatly increase the thermal performance of your home.

6: Is the work approved and is there a warranty?
All Warmfill agents and Warmfill products are approved by IAB (Irish Agrement Board) and by BBA (British Board of Agrement). Warmfill Insulation products conform to building regulations. We are also registered with CIGA (Cavity Insulation Guarantee Agency) who provide a 25 year guarantee scheme for work carried out by registered installer.

7: How long will it take to pay itself off?
You can expect to save up to 40% a year on heating costs with Warmfill Cavity Wall Insulation. Based on a €500 saving a year, you will recover costs in about 3 years, depending on fuel prices. If you avail of SEI grants this could be shortened to 2 years.

8: Why choose Warmfill Super Silver over other products?
We believe our product is superior to any other in the marketplace. No storage is required, installation takes 3-4 hours, our product requires 60% less drilling than others, air drying adhesive bonds the beads so they will not be unsettled by structural changes to the building, unique properties of the beads ensure drainage and protect against dampness. Our product is IAB & BBA approved, comes with a 25 year guaranntee and it also has a 0.34 Lambda Value.

9: How do you inject the Super Silver beads into the walls?
We drill coin sized holes through the outer cavity wall (60% fewer holes) and blow the beads by fan through these holes. Air drying adhesive is applied to the beads as they are blown into the walls. This allows the beads to flow freely until settled before setting into one bonded homogeneous heat saving mass which last he lifetime of the building. Holes are then professionally filled with matching mortar.

10: Should I have my attic insulated as well?
25% of home heat loss is through the roof space whereas 35% is lost through walls. If your walls are insulated you will continue to lose heat through a badly insulated roof space. You will dramatically improve the thermal performance of your home by insulating your roof space to modern standards.

11: How are the beads held in place?
Warmfill Super Silver Insulation beads have a unique air drying adhesive applied during the installation process. Once the beads have settled in the cavity, the adhesive will set and bond the beads into a homogeneous heat saving mass.

12: Do Warmfill Super Silver beads meet current building regulations?
Warmfill products are IAB and BBA certified which means the products and methods have been rigorously assessed to ensure durability and compliance with Irish and British building regulations.
